Take The Asset Guardian® Static Tour...Or See Asset Guardian Actually Work

Detailed Information At The Touch Of A Button

At the heart of Asset Guardian® is the enhanced database window, providing all the information relating to stored assets. It even includes a thumbnail image of the object selected, which can be expanded at the click of a button.

Detailed information on the object selected is shown in the right hand view, so you simply select an object on the left hand tree view to see its contents on the right hand details view.

It is often easier to identify the objects selected by their appearance, so Asset Guardian® displays a thum-nail image at the top left of each item in the left hand main tree view. This can be expanded in the right hand detail view at the touch of a button.

At the heart of Asset Guardian® is the hierarchical display of all assets / objects in the database. The hierarchical structure means you can quickly view the contents without having to look at each object individually, and quickly identify or find asset components. As well as allowing parent and child asset grouping, Asset Guardian® allows filtering of assets or components. i.e. in assets; only display open assets, only display closed assets. Or when documents are selected; only display a specific document type as specified in the options dialog for standard documents. Asset Guardian® tracks how assets are linked to each other, and how assets are linked to specific project or jobs, giving a complete project / job history related to any specific asset. This information is then presented in a standard explorer type window.

On the right of the main tree is a detailed view of all assets which are modified to incorporate data related to the chosen asset or component. Some of the main features available in Asset Guardian® are listed below :
