Reports

Within every level of an Asset there is the facility to print a summary of all the items logged to that section along with their status and any other relevant details. The data is first generated using the custom report generator

Any data source within Asset Guardian® can be selected and any field within the data source can then be added to the custom report.

Fields can have criteria added to further enhance the report. This criteria allows the user to specify data logged in between two dates, agaings a specified asset or by a specific person etc.

Once the report has been generated and checked, it can be saved to be re-used later.

On executing the report, the results are placed in the familiar list window. This data can then be sorted by any of the headings within the list window in the normal Windows Explorer fashion.

And, as all Asset Guardian® data is stored in a SQL Server format, the facility is there for users to easily produce their own custom reports using third party tools such as Crystal Reports from Seagate Software.
