System Requirements

Asset Guardian™ may be implemented on a single PC running in a stand-alone fashion or across a network using a Server and Client Workstations. The requirements for these are shown below.

Standalone / Networked Workstation Requirements

	Windows 2000 Pro or Windows XP Operating System
	Intel Pentium PII 400 processor or greater
	128MB RAM or greater
	100MB or more hard disk space (This will increase according to the amount of data stored within Asset Guardian®)
	CDROM Drive

Server Requirements

The server requires to run Microsoft Desktop Engine (MSDE) which is supplied with Asset Guardian® and allows up to 5 concurrent users. If more concurrent users are required then the server requires Microsoft SQL Server 2000 which is not supplied with Asset Guardian®.

Please check with Microsoft for the latest system requirements for MSDE and SQL Server 2000 however the following can be used as a guide:

	Microsoft Windows NT4 Server (SP5), Server 2000 or Server 2003
	Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE) This is available on the Asset Guardian® CD
	100MB Hard Disk size (This will increase according to the amount of data stored within Asset Guardian®)
